Malhar 2014 was held at CKT College, Panvel, from 19th to 26th January, 2014. The festival, which aims at encouraging talent in art, sports and other events, was inaugurated by Shri Narayan Rane, Minister for Industry, Port and Employment in Maharashtra State.

It seems quite unbelievable to say that youth are not interested in politics. Maharashtra elections 2014 might show a different trend. A thing of the past, the youth are now actively taking part in the country’s affairs and are updated with the happenings across the country. Though the entry of young Indian politicians is very small in numbers, it is significantly rising.

The world is looking up to us to take giant strides in science, business and engineering. Our motherland had grown since 1991 and the conditions will only get better. You could say our politicians are realising the need, or perhaps it’s due to a new factor. Co-incidentally the emergence of new politicians is also taking shape in the state of Maharashtra. And the effect of young Indian politicians on the city developments cannot be ignored.
